The Zone

This was the most confusing book I have read. The author created a character who is also an author from Russia smuggling out his manuscript in small sections by various friends, which are presented in the book in the order that he receives them. I do not recommend this book at all.

Reading this book as an adult and not a child was a different experience. I remember loving this poetry collection as a child. Some of the poems were a shock to read because cannibalism is a slight theme.
